The following figure displays the anomaly for the last quarter. It consists of the percentage deviation of the average wind speed of the previous trimester vs the long-term average for the homologous period. The data presented in this document derives from the MERRA2 database and has not been downscaled in any way.  By contrast, Windsight mesoscale modelling, from Megajoule Inovacao Lda., includes mesoscale modelling at much higher spatial and temporal resolutions, and is available as time series at individual points or as mapping across a region of interest.
